Christmas Day!! It looks like Santa made a visit at our house.

Close up of what the stockings looked like. Austin got Bendaroos. Amazingly ALL the kids love to play with them. They are waxy strings that you can bend and stick together to make stuff. Later I will post some of their creations.

Even the pets were good this year.

Evidence that Santa came and stopped for a treat!

Sammy slept upstairs with Lexie so that when it was time to come down, they could all come together. Tom let the girls wake him up to join the festivities.

The kids can open their stockings before breakfast. Ethan got both Indiana Jones I and II Wii video games.

Lexie shows that instead of an orange, this year Santa put a pomegranate at the bottom of their stockings.

Sammy got an Ipod Touch and Lexi an Ipod Nano from Santa!

Even Abby is enjoying her new toy mouse!

We always have breakfast before we open the presents under the tree. Usually we wait for the grandparents to come over, but this year they had breakfast with the Todds. We had our traditional sticky rolls, eggs and bacon with hot chocolate.

Before we start opening, Adrian read a uplifting Christmas story.

My big gift was a new monitor! It's been hard to edit photos on the old one as the colors were a bit off etc.

The girls got to share a Itunes card to get them started with their new Ipods!

Austin had a hard time when Ethan opened a Nerf gun first when Austin was the one that asked for one. Finally he open his (it was bigger and better). When we tried to give him another gift to open, he shoved it aside and wanted nothing to do with it now that he had HIS gun...

Tom got a few things too. New headphones was a big hit.

Sammy asked for a "Snuggie" this year. It was adult size and rather big. She almost looks like she's got a choir robe on and is singing at the top of her lungs!

Even Ethan thought it was snuggle-worthy.

After all the presents were opened, we had the kids open one last gift...the reason for all the giving to begin with and the greatest gift of all- Baby Jesus!

Later we all hooked up over at the Todds for lunch.

We just pooled a bunch of food along with a spiral ham and deviled eggs.

If you've never had Virgil's rootbeer, you've been missing out. Craig Collett turned Adrian on to it recently.

The rest of the day was spent enjoying each others gifts and they guys played their "games". It looks like more work to set up than it's worth!

Another wonderful Christmas spend with family we love!
