The Weaver's (Adrian's sister's family) came up for a couple days from CA and we took them to one of our favorite spots: Eagle Island!

You can see that Ethan just had an oreo cookie...looks like it was pretty good!

When you go to Eagle Island, you have to take few rides down the hydrotube!

We love making this peach cobbler when we camp so we thought it would be fun to take to the beach!

The girls confirm it turned out yummy!

Adrian decides that if you are going to get in, you should just jump right on in. (Or "run" in)

It's kinda of an "inside joke" that Sami never really smiles in pictures.

The boys spent most of the time in the sand and finding rocks and rinsing them off.

Frisbee is always a hit at the beach!

Later we made some "Costa Vida" pulled pork salads that we LOVE!

We decided to go to Settler's park and watch the free movies at night. Richard, Sonia and Orrin watch as the younger kids play on the equipment.

Lexi chats with Orrin.

The water is a fun way to cool off your feet when you get hot!

Ad eats some refreshing watermellon waiting for the movie to start.

There were tons of people.

Orrin sports the 3-D glasses for the movie, "Journey to the Center of the Earth".

So we got a $100 gift card for Chili's at a reward from the credit card! We thought we might as well enjoy ourselves with another game of Pinochle while we waited for our food.

We ended up with 3 appitizers because they messed up on one so we got an extra. We also shared a couple of desserts! Yum...

I guess Richard was making that face on purpose.

Aw...brother and sister.

Later the kids made a fort under the stairs.

Ethan, Atticus and Eli read/tell stories.

Time to leave...we are so sad!

Looks like Sonia is really sad too. Maybe next time we can squeek out a few more days! Thanks for a great time!!

It looks like you had a great time. We love Eagle Island although the slide has never been open the times we have gone. :( We love the movie night at the park! We have been gone a lot this summer so we haven't made it as many times as in the past. We did make it to "Princess Bride" which is one of my all time favorite movies. These pictures make me really want out-of-town family visitors!
It's always fun to show off some of our Idaho fun places when visitors come from out of town!
Glad you had such a good time!
