O.K. this is my LAST posting from my Mexico trip! I know it's been long and boring, but this is how I am scrapbooking! Our last full day, we went into town and just a few blocks from the fancy resort, there were run down buildings like this one.

This stop sign reminded me of Canasta and the card with "Alto" on it!

Part of the reason we wanted to head into town, was to eat at the more "authentic" places. "Rossy's" was one that was recommended to us and it was cheap and yummy!

I guess only rains once or twice a year and so it was no surprise that we didn't see anyone on the streets with an umbrella!

I thought this wall was cool and would be fun to take portraits in front of.

Not an unusual site there...

This was another recommended place. Jazmin's had everything, atmosphere, great food and live music!

This guy sang wonderfully in English but I guess couldn't speak it otherwise!

We saw these "Nacho Libre" type masks everywhere! It was tempting to buy, but they were kind of pricey.

We had to get at least one picture on the bus. They were old school buses rejected from the US and they were pretty scary and falling apart! But it was cheap.

As kind of a last minute idea, we decided to make the most of our last morning there and went on horseback rides along the beach.

It was Adrian's first time on a horse so he got a real obedient one.

I was surprised to get the lead horse and got to go on a short gallop. My legs were a bit sore afterwards but we had a blast!!

The resort had some mini-golf so we played a bit that last morning.

We played a bit of tennis too- it was starting to get pretty hot outside, though.

We had some time to kill and so we just played some more cards.

This is the view flying over LA on the way home.

I always like to take a picture of all the souvineers we get on trips because they don't always stand the test of time. The "hobo" jackets were hot items for our girls.

We had a great time and we all agreed it was nice to have Adrian be our "spokesman" since he was the only one who knew some Spanish! Now next week I can catch up on other pictures starting from last February...yikes!
