Thanksgiving this year was at my sister Wendy's house! The table looked beautiful and special.

You know it's Thanksgiving when there are as many desserts as there is dinner. We had 2 different key lime pies, pumpkin, apple and banana creme. There were also pumpkin bars and homemade carmels!

The island was filled with lots of fantastic food. Wendy's stuffing had nuts and dried cranberries. We had two turkeys to ensure plenty of leftovers!

Grabbed a few shots of the kids. I think they were annoyed as they were about to dip up their dinner! Ethan

Sammy

Lexie

Austin. (kind of a strange face...)

Here is the "Kids Table" we put in Wendy's pantry. How I would love to have a walk-in pantry like that!

At our "RS Holiday Help" night, we made these Thankful Trees. We all wrote things we are thankful down on the leaves and hung them up.

Most of them were very thoughtful like: Joseph Smith, Family, Atonement...but then I found one that said, Plankton! I guess it's pretty important thing in the food chain.

The adult table.

Everything was cooked to perfection! Mom's homemade rolls are THE BEST EVER!

The kids always have a great time together just being kids! Cameron and Ethan try to walk around in ONE set of pajamas!

As soon as we heard "ripping" sounds, it was time for them to get out!

After a full turkey dinner, Adrian did exactally what we all wanted to do...recline and rest!

The kids helped make these easy boxes out of Christmas cars. We cut out small squares of tissue paper to line the box and then filled with candy. We handed these out to teachers, kids friends and those we VT/HT etc.

Topped with a mini-bow, they turned out too cute!

Thanks to Cherie sharing a cute idea on her blog, we were able to do this fun craft! We always make something for Christmas on Thanksgiving to get us excited for the next holiday. We had a ton of gold ball ornaments we don't use on the tree so we just had to buy some colored ones from the dollar store.

Mom doesn't always like the idea of "eyeballing" things. She is an avid "pattern" follower so she went out of her comfort zone and did a great job!

Wendy getting the hang of it!

Wendy had me tie her bow because she was afraid to mess it up. Get real.

The finished product! *side note* my wreath got smashed a bit before I ever hung it up but luckily I had a few extra balls and was able to repair it. Whew!

We have SO much to be thankful for and how grateful I was that we could all spend it together with the family that we love!!

Looks like a lot of fun - I love the holidays and all the time we get to spend with our family. I have never thought about being thankful for plankton, but I guess I should add it to my list!
